Hmm… at the Cyber Monday store, http://www.cybermonday.com, it turns out that “garden” and “pets” belong on the same line in the nav bar as “Garden & Pets”. You UX guys out there always catch me off guard. This must be, like, "para-contextual-associative navigation” or something…
I have to pause to think what causal relationships drove that one. Do they see pets as most likely in gardens? Wow. That’s not a good mix.
If they wanted to address me as their sole audience, they’d have to go with something more like “Legs of dining room chairs & Cats” or maybe “Crappy ghetto dog yards & pissed off Border Collies”.
They do set “flowers” off on their own. That makes sense. My dogs are always breaking them off at their stems – and the cats eat them.
